Decoding Sculpture

I may not have the tools (or the space) to build the things I dream up anymore, but that doesn’t stop me from dreaming. When in college I issues with decoding/reading the sculpture my peers would produce. I understood that each piece was to convey a feeling or message. However, by being close to several of my classmates and knowing more about the work, than someone not in the class, made things a bit easer and difficult in terms of decoding.
These days I I don’t have a Fully loaded metal shop, wood shop or ceramics studio, let alone a room full of artists to bounce Ideas off of (face to face). Which has led me to work entirely in my mind and on paper. As many sculptors do, I start with a situation that evoked a specific feeling and I try to find ways of recreating the different elements of that situation in a metaphorical or abstract mannor. Most of my work has to do with emotion shown through figurative robots unable to experience emotion and the sleek lines of modern furniture made from raw materials.
I find that some of the best sculpture produced starts with one abstract word as the message, such as: honor, duty, justice or love
If you have any sculpture ideas (ridiculous or not) put them in the comments
