Biography
Clarke Hosp was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He graduated Middle Tennessee State University in 2008 with a BFA in sculpture and graphic design. After graduating, Clarke lived in Phoenix, Arizona for 3 years before moving to West Chicago, Illinois.
While in College Clarke discovered his love for the visual arts and sculpture. He spent much of his time designing Promotional ads, modern furniture and decor. The Robots came about from the scrap material leftover from other furniture/decor projects. After leaving the art department at MTSU, Clarke started his own graphic design business and became an art director in Phoenix, AZ. He would have to wait almost 4 years until he had a studio of his own before he would create furniture or sculpture again.
Clarke is recently engaged, enjoys living in West Chicago and works in Naperville. He still runs his freelance graphic design business and builds sculpture/furniture/home decor when time allows.
